Was supposed to play Canon in D, but it's been played so much that I get a bit of a headache when I hear it again. Haha... So Ms.Chong let me choose a song from this pop piano book... It's actually from a movie titled "Beaches". Well, I chose this song, "Wind Beneath My Wings" because I find the music very touching and the lyrics meaningful. It is easy to put up a glorious front and enjoy envious gazes from people who yearn for it... To show off and to receive praises... But it takes a person who really loves you to quietly support from behind, without ever thinking of sharing your glory, but only wishing you happiness... And when you know that you have such loved ones with you, life is worth its while, no matter how difficult it might have been. For this, my life is as perfect as the date today signifies, and I thank my family :) |
